Secco Sistemi — A History of Innovation and Design
For over 70 years, Secco Sistemi has been a leader in the evolution of window and door engineering — it invents new systems which later become reference models for the fenestration industry, and continues to perfect them through interpretation of projects which create trends in contemporary architecture.
Secco Sistemi was founded in 1947 in Treviso, Italy by Aldo Secco, who wanted to revolutionize the world of metal windows and doors. The first successes came with the “Seccolor” product, a window frame that won the ‘Compasso d’Oro’ award in 1981, exporting not only the product but also the fabrication technology to factories as far away as Iran and China. In 1995, Secco Sistemi was acquired by Luciano Gusmeroli and Alberto Agostini who established the company vision as a dedication to architecture, through the accurate design of the profiles and the use of precious metals.

Zero-Gravity Magnetic Levitation
0G® [zerø gravity] is the lift and slide option which adopts the principle of passive magnetic levitation for the movement of doors. The frame, lifted up by powerful Ironlev® magnets slides, floating over a small track, without noise, without friction and without the need for electricity. With its technology, 0G® allows you to manually open and close large sliding doors with weights of up to 1000 kg. In the door sash, mechanisms are provided which counteract the lifting thrust of the magnets and lower the panel, ensuring tightness of closure.

XT-AF High Fire Resistance
After years of research, testing and field experience, Secco Sistemi developed the technology used in the XT-AF profile, which supports extraordinary architectural design, while enabling high fire-resistance performance — even with minimal profiles and large-sized frames.

EBE-65 Corten Tilt/Turn, Pivot
The EBE series of thermally broken profile is sculptural, solid and suitable for large spans. The sash and the frame are rebated internally and coplanar externally, and the glazing bead is offered with a design choice of three different shapes — square, thin, and gothic. The hinges may be specified as either exposed or hidden, and all accessories (glazing beads, hinges, and handles) are seamlessly presented in the same material as the frame and sash.

OS2-75 Tilt/Turn, Slide, Bi-Fold, Pivot
OS2
The OS2 series is the backbone of the Secco Sistemi profile systems — its elegant and minimalistic design won the Compasso d'Oro award. The system offers over 40 profile choices to create an architecturally consistent impression between all fenestration elements — inswing and outswing windows and doors, tilt/turn windows, folding doors, lift and slide doors, and pivot windows and doors. Additionally, the fixed elements may be specified with either a direct-glazed minimal frame or a fixed sash with coplanar glazing.

4F2 Curtain Wall, Thermally Broken
The 4F series of thermally-broken curtain wall is offered in a fire-resistant self-supporting system with mullions and transoms, or as an infill system to span between load-bearing elements of the structure, both steel and wood. Invisible joinery between the mullions and transoms is accomplished with concealed internal stainless steel hardware, and the external covers are offered in all of Secco Sistemi’s precious metal choices.

RAL
RAL is a color matching system which defines colors for paint, coatings and plastics. RAL originated in Germany, and is the standard nomenclature for powder coat color options. There are over 400 standard RAL colors to choose from; above are a few common options.
